Group Financial Controller | North West | Hybrid Strategic leadership role driving financial control, compliance and reporting across a complex, multi-entity group A global organisation is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead the financial control agenda across its UK & Ireland operations. This is a pivotal role within the senior finance team, ensuring robust compliance, reporting and governance across a regulated and dynamic environment. Reports into the Finance & IT Director Hybrid working with North West base This role provides strategic oversight and operational leadership across core areas of financial control and compliance. Responsible for group balance sheet integrity, statutory accounts, tax, pensions and audit Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and local regulatory standards Lead external stakeholder relationships including auditors, HMRC, banks and pension trustees Manage and develop the Financial Accounting team Partner with the senior leadership team to align finance with group strategy ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally with a practice-trained background Significant experience in financial control within complex, multi-entity organisations Proven track record of leading audits and managing external stakeholders Experienced in SAP and core Microsoft tools An exceptional opportunity for a senior finance professional to shape and lead the group financial control function within a complex, internationally operating organisation.
