The Role
An excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified ACA making a first move into industry with plenty of exposure to both Senior and Executive leadership teams. The role offers a rare combination of financial reporting, KPI reporting, commercial business partnering, and budgeting and forecasting, providing outstanding breadth of experience and exposure to key areas of the business.
As a Group Finance Manager, you will report to the Group Financial Controller and play a pivotal role in:
- Financial Accounting: Preparing annual and interim reports, technical accounting papers, and banking covenant information.
- Internal reporting: Including reporting on Group cash flow, and assisting with monthly KPI reporting.
- Finance Business Partner: Acting as a trusted business partner to a specific business unit by analysing financial performance, preparing budgets, and delivering insights that support decision-making across key teams.
- ESG Reporting: Collaborating with teams on ESG-related reporting and strategic initiatives.
- Internal Control Improvements: Implementing changes to improve the control environment and driving efficiency improvements through enhanced processes.
About You
- Newly Qualified ACA, trained in a Top 8 accountancy firm, with IFRS experience and solid Excel skills.
- Background in Audit, familiarity with statutory accounts (IFRS). Ideally worked on PLC clients (not essential).
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to risk management and process enhancement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
