The Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this broad and high-profile role will manage the Group’s accounting, tax and treasury activities. It offers exposure to the Executive team and senior divisional finance leaders across the Group, combining technical reporting, controls oversight, and strategic financial input.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of Group and statutory accounts under IFRS
  • Oversight of tax compliance, group tax provisions, and VAT
  • Treasury reporting, including cashflow, FX and refinancing support
  • Continuous improvement of internal controls and divisional compliance
  • Supporting M&A, technical accounting and audit processes

The Candidate

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent) or strong track record in senior tax and accounting roles
  • Excellent understanding of IFRS, group reporting and tax principles
  • Experience in a PLC or fast-paced, PE-backed environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Hands-on, proactive and confident working in a multi-site, international structure
