Interim Risk Manager / Associate Director β Banking & Financial Services
Contract | London / Hybrid | Immediate Start
We are looking for an experienced Risk professional to join a leading Financial Services advisory team on an initial contract basis, supporting a portfolio of banking and financial services clients.
This is a hands-on role requiring someone with a strong grounding in risk management frameworks, ideally gained within a banking environment. You will need to be comfortable working with senior stakeholders and able to quickly understand different client environments and provide practical support across their risk frameworks.
Key experience required:
Strong understanding of Risk Management frameworks and governance
Banking experience, ideally gained within a second-line Risk function
Hands-on experience of performing and facilitating RCSAs
Experience developing, maintaining and owning risk registers
Strong understanding of risk appetite frameworks, KRIs and other risk metrics
Experience identifying and calibrating risk appetite measures and monitoring performance against them
Good understanding of industry best practice in Risk Governance
Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and operate across multiple client engagements
Previous consulting or advisory experience would be advantageous, although we are equally interested in candidates who have developed strong hands-on experience within a
