6-Month Contract | Asset / Wealth Management Operations | London (Hybrid)

We are supporting a large asset / wealth management organisation undergoing a structured client and asset migration as part of a wider integration programme. As a result, we are looking to appoint an experienced Migration Support Administrator on a 6-month contract.

This role will particularly suit someone who has worked in an operational or middle-office support role within an asset manager, wealth manager or investment platform, and who is comfortable supporting high-volume, regulated operational activity with accuracy and control. You will likely have worked in operations, customer support, relations or administration.

The Role

This is a hands-on operational support role, embedded within a migration programme but firmly rooted in day-to-day asset/wealth operations. You will support the orderly movement of client accounts and assets, ensure documentation and data are complete and accurate, and act as a key administrative support to programme and operations leads.

The role requires someone who understands how asset management operations actually work: controls, audit trails, client communications and exception handling rather than a purely PMO or change-only background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative and coordination support across client and asset migration waves
  • Maintaining detailed trackers covering client accounts, documentation status, issues and dependencies
  • Supporting and tracking client communications (letters/emails), including mail merges and response logging
  • Acting as a point of contact for operational client queries during the migration process
  • Handling inbound and outbound client calls and emails, escalating issues where required
  • Coordinating and checking operational documentation (e.g. transfer forms, KYC/AML, terms of business)
  • Ensuring clean audit trails, version control and evidence capture throughout the migration
  • Managing shared mailboxes and query queues, triaging and resolving issues efficiently
  • Producing operational MI and progress reporting for programme and operations management
  • Supporting readiness activity ahead of migration events, including checklists and call lists

Required Background & Experience

  • Previous experience in asset management, wealth management or investment platform operations
  • Strong fit for candidates from middle office, operations administration or client operations support roles
  • Comfortable working with client accounts, assets, transfers and regulated operational processes
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large, sensitive datasets
  • Experience supporting client communications within a regulated financial services environment
  • Used to working in non-BAU, high-volume operational periods with tight deadlines
