Marina Developments Ltd is the UK’s leading Marina operator. Situated in Berkshire, Windsor Marina is a busy and high-profile visitor destination. We aim to deliver the highest level of service and experience for our visitors and customers, demanding the very best from ourselves whilst working as a team every day.
To help us deliver exceptional service we are seeking to recruit a Marina Manager to assist with marina operations at Windsor Marina, SL4 5TZ. The role will include but not be limited to:
- Being responsible for the day-to-day operations at Windsor Marina; working alongside the team to ensure the effective and efficient running of site operations ensuring excellence in customer service and experience at all times.
- Being accountable for the financial performance of the business and running the marinas effectively, correctly and profitably.
- In conjunction with the site management teams, ensuring that all daily, weekly and monthly checks are carried out, along with all routine maintenance to ensure the site remains safe, secure, clean, tidy and well landscaped at all times.
- Ensuring the day-to-day operation and overall image of the site reflects the Company’s position as market leader.
- Ensuring all legal, HSE and company policies including financial policies are being adhered to.
- Working with the Marina Administrator to manage all marina and boatyard administration to ensure all records are maintained accurately in order to yield maximum revenue; assisting with marina and boatyard administration where necessary.
- Ensuring payment is received for all services under the guidelines laid down.
The key requirements for this role are but not limited to:
- A proactive approach to customer service and any issues arising is adopted along with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- All dealings with team members are carried out professionally, politely, and respectfully.
- Adopting a flexible attitude towards work location whilst providing the best in customer experience and site cover; driving customer focus to the forefront of activities.
- Managing site staff to ensure they are providing the best possible customer experience.
- Building and developing a professional close working relationship with senior management, central services and staff at the facility, including holding regular staff meetings and undertaking annual appraisals.
- Placing the customer at the forefront of daily duties and ensuring excellence in customer service and customer experience is achieved at all times.
- Delivering operational processes and systems in accordance with the quality management systems of the MDL Way.

Investments will enhance five flagship marinas with new restaurants, upgraded berth-holder facilities, specialist berthing for narrowboats and jet skis, building refurbishments, improved parking solutions, and continued investment in pontoons, smart metering, Meter MACS, EV charging infrastructure and superyacht berthing.
