We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team at our Ocean Village Head Office to provide high-quality support to MDL’s Board of Directors.
This is a key role at the heart of the business, supporting a diverse operation.

You will support senior leaders through an exciting period of growth, helping to coordinate Board and Senior Leadership Team activities, meetings, projects and key priorities.

This role will include
- Act as a professional first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Directors.
- Manage Directors’ diaries, inboxes, meetings, travel arrangements and associated logistics.
- Coordinate Board and Senior Leadership activities, including agendas, minutes, action tracking, Board packs and related papers.
- Draft reports, presentations, briefing papers and confidential correspondence to a high standard.
- Provide administrative support across key business processes, including HR administration, expenses, credit card returns, benefits and group company reporting requirements.
- Support the organisation of projects, events, archiving, staff berthing and Sail Training Award administration.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion, maintaining confidentiality and working in line with Company policies and standards.
- Play a lead role in maintaining a positive work culture within the Head Office through events, communications and other initiatives.
About you
- Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Senior Administrator, or similar support role.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and confidential information.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach when working with stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail, with confidence preparing agendas, minutes, reports, presentations and briefing papers.
- Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Able to work independently, exercise sound judgement and maintain discretion when handling sensitive matters.
- Friendly, flexible and proactive, with experience coordinating travel, meetings or events, such as company conferences, would be an advantage.
