Class 2 Driver - Temp to Perm in Bellshill, Lanarkshire

We\’re looking for a reliableClass 2 Delivery Driverto join our clients team in Bellshill in the Food Distribution sector. You will be delivering goods to customers as part of a multi-drop route, who run a mix of manual and automatic vehicles, so you\’ll need a license that covers both!

5-day shift pattern, Monday to Saturday, with a rotating Saturday shift

06:00am starts- average 9-10 hours a day

What You\’ll Be Doing:

• Driving Class 2 vehicles(manual & automatic) to make deliveries.

Unloading goods at customer premises which may involve stairs and some lifting

• Making around 15-20 drops a day, depending on your route.
• Using a PDA with pre-loaded delivery details, alongside paper documents.
• Providing friendly and professional service to customers.
• Following road safety and food safety guidelines.

Training:

• 3 days of training in the depot prior to start date.
• 1 week on the road with an experienced driver.
• Ongoing support as you settle into the role.

What We\’re Looking For:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) license for manual & automatic vehicles.
• Over 25 (insurance requirement).
• Experience preferred, but training can be provided for the right person
• Physically fit and okay with manual work.
• Good with rules and road safety.
• Friendly and confident with customers.
