About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Financial Administrator / Analyst to join a leading international energy organisation, supporting finance and administrative activities for globally mobile employees and international business operations.#

Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you will gain exposure to invoicing, accounts payable processes, SAP systems, financial administration, and stakeholder management across international teams.
The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent Excel skills, and a genuine interest in finance, accounting, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration & Invoicing
- Perform pre-invoicing checks and validation of supporting documentation.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of customer invoices.
- Verify billing information, expenses, currencies, and contractual details.
- Ensure the correct application of VAT and other relevant tax requirements where applicable.
- Prepare draft sales orders (ODVs) within SAP and monitor approval workflows.
- Produce supporting documentation and spreadsheet reports as required.
- Follow up on invoice approvals and support the resolution of invoice-related queries.
Accounts Payable & Invoice Processing
- Review and analyse invoices received through invoice workflow systems.
- Investigate and validate cost allocations and coding.
- Process service entries within SAP.
- Support the management of invoice backlogs and outstanding transactions.
- Work closely with senior finance colleagues to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing.
- Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
Administrative & Stakeholder Support
- Support HR and Finance teams with organisational structure and employee-related administrative activities.
- Act as an initial point of contact for invoice-related queries.
- Liaise with internal departments, finance teams, accountants, and international stakeholders.
- Build effective working relationships across multiple business functions.
- Ensure information is provided accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience within a Finance, Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Financial Administration role.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reporting.
- Experience using SAP within a finance or accounting environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
Desirable
- SAP MM experience.
- Experience using invoice workflow systems such as OpenText VIM.
- Oracle experience.
- Experience working within a high-volume transaction environment.
- Previous exposure to multinational, shared services, or corporate environments.
- Italian language skills.
- Experience working with international stakeholders.
