Project Engineer – Heavy Lift and Transport Operations
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
5 per week (additional hours may apply, with uplift and overtime rates)
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000, plus a 15% bonus (up to £10,500), paid quarterly

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on the engineering and planning of heavy lift and transportation projects. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in hydraulic gantry installations, crane lifting projects, and transportation solutions including SPMT and modular conventional transports.
Competitive salary: £50,000 – £70,000 depending on experience

Engineering Solutions Development: Produce technical solutions, designs, and engineering for onsite lifting operations, transportation, load-outs, and marine transportations.
Project Leadership: Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain critical engineering documents such as drawings, calculations, and risk assessments with a focus on safety and quality.
Conduct site visits, assess requirements, participate in operations, and provide on-site leadership to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or significant industry experience.
Strong experience in managing large-scale construction projects and heavy lift transport.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
Valid UK driving license and right to work in the UK.
Master’s degree in an Engineering-related discipline.
Certifications such as IOSH Managing Safely or CSCS Appointed Person.
Experience with advanced lifting operations and transportation configurations.
Office locations are in Greater Bristol (North Somerset), Newcastle (North-East), and Nottinghamshire. with required travel to various project sites as needed, including potential international travel.
