We are partnering with a leading investment management firm specialising in sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy to support their search for a Portfolio Manager in London. With a strong track record in developing and managing solar and storage assets, the company is committed to optimising portfolio performance and driving long-term value. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team, overseeing the performance and growth of a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects.

The role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Portfolio Manager to support our clients Solar and Storage team. Reporting to the Portfolio Lead, this role will be responsible for analysing and optimising performance across commercial and residential rooftop solar portfolios, managing key property relationships within the residential sector, and providing critical administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across multiple locations.

What will you be doing?

  1. Conduct KPI variance analysis, identify and resolve performance issues, and oversee O&M contractors to ensure optimal site performance.
  2. Act as the main contact for property-related issues, coordinate with contractors and solicitors, and ensure smooth resolution of legal and access matters.
  3. Support new asset onboarding, regulatory compliance, ESG data collection, and process improvements for solar and storage sites.
  4. Maintain accurate records, contribute to digitalisation initiatives, and enhance reporting efficiency.
  5. Liaise with contractors, housing associations, and other key stakeholders, with occasional site visits and industry event participation.

What are we looking for?

  1. Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  3. Proficiency in digital tools and systems.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Basic electrical or renewable energy knowledge.
  6. Previous experience working with rooftop solar PV systems, in either asset management or operations or other renewable energy roles.
