Manufacturing Engineer

Andover, Hampshire

A leading manufacturer based in Andover is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work on advanced manufacturing processes in a high-tech, mission-critical environment.

The Role

You’ll support production teams and senior engineers to ensure manufacturing processes run efficiently, meet quality standards, and support the delivery of high-performance electronic products. The role involves continuous improvement, hands-on problem solving, process optimisation, and support for new product introductions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day engineering activities and medium to long-term projects
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Train and mentor operators and junior engineers
  • Assist with process validation, documentation, and compliance
  • Support troubleshooting, quality investigations, and audits
  • Contribute to the introduction of new products and technologies

Requirements

  • Degree / HNC / HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline
  • Experience in a manufacturing, clean room or engineering environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of production processes and quality standards
  • Confident communicator, able to work cross-functionally
