A well-established Renewable Technologies business is delivering Solar PV and EV Charging projects across the UK. They specialise in designing and delivering Solar PV solutions that help customers reduce energy bills and move towards a greener, more sustainable future. They manage the full project lifecycle - from initial design and survey through to installation, aftercare and maintenance - with a focus on efficiency, quality, and long-term client partnerships.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of Solar PV and electrical installation projects within the commercial and new build/construction sector, working alongside an existing team and playing a senior role in ensuring projects are delivered smoothly, safely and compliantly. The role is primarily office-based in Kent, with WFH days and occasional UK-wide site visits.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of Solar PV and electrical installations
- Organising and coordinating installation teams to deliver on programme
- Ordering materials and managing logistics to ensure everything arrives on time
- Supporting G99 grid connection applications (full training provided)
- Assisting with electrical design input and technical project support
- Keeping project management systems updated to ensure full compliance
- Ensuring quality meets regulatory standards and work is delivered to a high level
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience delivering Solar PV projects or strong technical knowledge of electrical/PV systems
- Experience managing site activity, installations, teams and project programmes
- Organised, proactive and confident taking ownership of delivery
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Open to experienced Project Managers or senior electricians/installers ready to step up into management
