We're working with a leading engineering and project consultancy that is looking to appoint a Project Manager to support the delivery of building services projects across a diverse portfolio of commercial and operational environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded Project Manager with experience in MEP, building services, or construction consultancy who enjoys working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver projects from inception through to completion.

The Role

You'll take ownership of multiple projects, overseeing planning, coordination, delivery, and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle. Working within occupied and operational buildings, you'll act as the key interface between clients, contractors, and design teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • On-site project management and coordination
  • Managing project programmes, controls, and reporting
  • Design planning and technical reviews
  • Tender management and contractor selection
  • Chairing progress meetings and driving actions
  • Change management and risk management
  • Contract administration support
  • Warranty review and procurement activities
  • Stakeholder engagement across all project phases

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience delivering construction or building services projects valued from £100k+
  • Background within MEP, building services, engineering consultancy, or construction environments
  • Understanding of RIBA stages and project delivery processes
  • Knowledge of procurement routes and tender processes
  • Familiarity with CDM regulations and statutory compliance requirements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Project and the wider Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Desirable

  • HND, Degree, or higher qualification in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management
  • APM, RICS, or equivalent professional accreditation
  • Experience working within consultancy environments
  • Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
  • Interest in sustainability, low-energy design, and intelligent buildings
  • Working towards professional membership or chartership
