The team is experienced, agile and committed to innovation, quality and sustainability across the project lifecycle.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Pre-Construction Coordinator/Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of renewable energy projects from early planning through to construction readiness. This role is ideal for a candidate with a few years’ experience in the energy, infrastructure or construction sectors who is ready to progress into project management while gaining exposure to end-to-end project delivery.

You’ll work closely with internal delivery teams, developers, consultants and engineers to coordinate pre-construction activities, manage technical and programme requirements, and ensure projects are fully prepared for construction and hand-over.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Construction Delivery
    • Assist with the planning and coordination of pre-construction activities, including discharge of pre-commencement conditions, surveys and site assessments.
    • Support the development and maintenance of pre-construction programmes and milestones.
    • Assist with the review and coordination of technical documentation and planning deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Coordination
    • Liaise with developers, consultants, planning authorities, surveyors, and internal teams to progress projects through pre-construction.
    • Coordinate technical inputs and information flows to enable timely approvals and handover.
  • Project Readiness & Compliance
    • Help prepare and organise key surveys (technical, environmental, ground investigations).
    • Support compliance with statutory, regulatory and safety requirements.
    • Assist in preparing documentation for approvals and permits.
  • Transition to Construction
    • Work with construction delivery leads to ensure seamless handover and continuity between pre-construction and build phases.
    • Support internal teams in preparation for mobilisation and execution.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 1–4 years’ experience in construction, engineering or renewables (pre-construction, coordinator or similar role).
  • Experience supporting project planning, scheduling, documentation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple tasks.

Desirable

  • Renewable energy sector exposure (solar, wind or BESS).
  • Project coordination experience with surveys, planning conditions or technical deliverables.
  • Understanding of construction / project lifecycle and readiness processes.
  • Project management or construction planning qualification (desirable but not essential).

What You’ll Get

  • Opportunity for career progression into full Project Management and site delivery roles.
  • Exposure to high-impact renewable energy projects.
  • Collaborative, professional environment with development support.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
