Recruitment Consultant – Driving

Location: Bristol

Salary: Up to £40,000 base + OTE

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

MDE Group is offering an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Driving Division in Bristol. You’ll be responsible for growing and managing a busy driving desk, recruiting professional drivers across the South West and building strong client relationships in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

This role is ideal for someone with experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Transport Planner, or Account Manager within the transport industry who wants to step into a career that rewards performance, initiative, and relationship building.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a Driving desk, supplying temporary and permanent drivers across the South West.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and workforce solutions.
• Source, screen, and onboard candidates — ensuring full compliance with driver regulations.
• Support clients with rota management, bookings, and day-to-day staffing needs.
• Develop new business opportunities through networking, client meetings, and proactive sales activity.
• Collaborate with the wider Industrial & Logistics team to drive divisional growth.

Requirements:

• Recruitment experience or background in logistics, transport coordination, or driver management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercially aware, proactive, and driven to achieve results.
• Understanding of transport or logistics operations preferred.
• Ambition to develop within a growing division and earn uncapped commission.
