About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Durham. Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the commercial management of allocated projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
β Manage commercial functions from project start to completion.
β Work with clients on contract terms, risk analysis, and scope changes.
β Oversee project handovers from pre-construction to site teams.
β Administer contracts (NEC, JCT, Bespoke) and ensure compliance.
β Monitor and report on costs, cash flow, and change control.
β Prepare sub-contractor/supplier packages and oversee payments.
β Negotiate and agree final accounts.
β Conduct procurement management, invoice approvals, and claim resolution.
β Support project planning and financial forecasting.
What Weβre Looking For:
πΉ Qualifications & Experience:
- 3β4 yearsβ experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent construction qualification.
- CSR Card β Black Level.
- Strong knowledge of construction & engineering contracts and processes.
πΉ Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & industry software (e.g., COINS, REDSKY, FOUR PROJECTS, ASTA Powerproject).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
