MDE Consultants are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Yate, Bristol. We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to support daily warehouse operations, including goods handling, stock movement, and dispatch preparation.
This is a full-time, temp to perm role offering stability, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for progression. It’s ideal for someone reliable, hands-on, and experienced with counterbalance forklift work.
Please note: Own transport is required if you are not local to Yate due to limited public transport links.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading deliveries
Moving goods using a counterbalance forklift
Stock control and replenishment
Order picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch
Labelling and wrapping goods for shipment
General housekeeping and warehouse upkeep
Supporting team members across the warehouse when needed
What We’re Looking For:
Recent experience operating a counterbalance forklift – essential
(Formal licence not required, but hands-on experience is a must)
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Willingness to get stuck in and work as part of a team
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Own transport if commuting from outside the Yate area
