The Opportunity

We are looking for an Electrical Installations Manager to support commercial Solar PV projects across the UK. This is a home based role with occasional UK wide travel, typically involving 1 to 2 nights away per week. Rather than managing projects day to day, your focus will be leading Electrical Leads, supporting installation teams and carrying out quality inspections to ensure works are completed safely and to the required standard.

The Role

  • Manage and support Electrical Leads across multiple projects
  • Carry out site inspections, audits and quality checks
  • Review workmanship and ensure compliance with specifications
  • Support training, development and performance of installation teams
  • Identify and resolve installation issues before project handover
  • Work closely with Project Managers and operational teams
  • Travel to projects across the UK as required

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing electrical teams
  • Strong commercial or industrial electrical background
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

  • Solar PV experience
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
