We are seeking qualified Electricians to support electrical installation works across commercial solar PV projects throughout the UK. This role is well suited to electricians from an industrial or commercial background who are looking to move into the renewable sector. Full support will be provided to help transition into solar projects.
You will be working on large scale installations as part of experienced site teams, delivering projects safely and efficiently. The position is Monday to Friday site based, with regular staying away depending on project location.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out electrical installation works on commercial solar PV projects
- Install containment, cabling, inverters and associated systems
- Work alongside Lead Electricians and site teams to deliver installations
- Ensure all works are completed in line with specifications and standards
- Maintain high levels of health and safety on site
- Support testing and commissioning stages
- Follow RAMS and site procedures at all times
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical
- 18th Edition
- Background in commercial or industrial electrical installations
- Willingness to travel and stay away for site based work
- Strong understanding of site health and safety
- 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection and Testing
- Previous solar PV experience
- Salary £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday site based work
- UK wide travel required
