We are supporting a leading renewable energy business in the appointment of a Senior Construction Manager to oversee construction activities across a portfolio of operational utility scale Solar PV assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of repowering projects, revamping works, major corrective activities and plant upgrades across the UK. You will provide leadership to Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for driving project performance, supporting business growth and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering utility scale Solar PV projects.
- Strong construction management background within the renewable energy sector.
- Experience leading Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of repowering, revamping, plant upgrades or major corrective works.
- Strong commercial and financial management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client facing experience.
- Strong understanding of health and safety, quality and programme management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
