Lead Electrician - Commercial Solar PV
Location: Site Based - UK Travel
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 + Van + Staying Away Package
Position: Full Time
We are recruiting an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams across projects nationwide.
This is a hands-on role for someone who has come through electrical installation and is comfortable leading electricians, apprentices and support engineers on site.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical installation teams on Commercial Solar PV projects
- Oversee containment, cabling, termination, testing and commissioning
- Coordinate with mechanical installation teams
- Carry out quality checks and resolve installation issues
- Manage daily workload and site resources
- Mentor electricians and support engineers
- Maintain high H&S and workmanship standards
Requirements
- Strong Commercial Solar PV installation experience
- Previous experience leading electrical teams
- NVQ Level 3
- AM2
- ECS Gold Card
- 18th Edition
- 2391 or equivalent
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Happy to travel and stay away nationwide
- Solar PV and EV qualifications advantageous
