Overview

We\’re looking for an experienced Electrician\’s Mate to support commercial and renewable electrical installations across the UK. The role involves hands‑on site work, assisting qualified electricians with all aspects of installation, testing, and commissioning. Ideal for someone keen to develop their trade skills within a professional and safety‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support electricians with commercial and renewable installations.
• Assist with containment, cable routing, pulling, fixing, and termination.
• Help with testing and commissioning under supervision.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards on‑site.
• Report progress or issues to the site lead or project manager.

Essential Requirements

• Experience as an Electrician\’s Mate, Electrical Improver, or Electrical Labourer.
• Valid ECS or CSCS card.
• City & Guilds or EAL Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installations (Building & Structures).
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.

Desirable Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• AM2 Assessment.
• 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Inspection & Testing.
• PV or EV Installation Course (C&G, EAL, or BPEC).
• ECS Gold Card.
