Salary: Β£45,000 + Travel / Staying Away Package
Position: Full Time
We are looking for an experienced Lead Mechanical Fitter with a strong Commercial Solar PV installation background to lead mechanical installation teams across projects nationwide. The role will focus on the mechanical installation of commercial Solar PV systems, particularly rooftop installations.
Responsibilities
- Lead Solar PV mechanical installation teams
- Install roof-mounted and ground-mounted PV systems
- Coordinate daily site activities and allocate work
- Work from project drawings and installation plans
- Oversee mounting systems, rails and associated components
- Carry out installation QA and rectify defects
- Mentor Solar PV Fitters
- Maintain RAMS and H&S compliance
Requirements
- 3+ years Commercial Solar PV installation experience
- Previous experience leading installation teams
- Strong knowledge of PV mounting systems
- Commercial rooftop Solar PV experience preferred
- Roofing / steelwork knowledge
- CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Happy with nationwide travel and staying away
- SSSTS, SMSTS and Working at Height qualifications are advantageous
