Logistics Operative – Temp to Perm Opportunity

Location: Weston-Super-Mare
Shifts: Nine-day fortnight (every other Friday off) Monday – Friday / Day Shift
Pay Rate: TBC
Contract: Temp to Perm (3 months temp, with opportunity to go permanent)

Are you an experienced warehouse or logistics professional looking for your next challenge in a structured and supportive environment? Our client, a well-established name in automotive remanufacturing, is looking for a Logistics Operative to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, with a clear path to permanent employment based on performance and fit.

What You\’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out general warehouse and stores duties across two operational units

• Operating forklifts – Flexi Truck experience highly desirable

• Transporting goods safely between units (including crossing public roads)

• Supporting inventory management and logistics procedures

• Working in line with the company\’s shift pattern – a nine-day fortnight, offering a great work-life balance

What We\’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in warehouse or stores operations

• Valid forklift license (external preferred over in-house certification)

• Flexi truck license – desirable but not essential

• Full UK driving licence – required to operate forklifts between units on public roads

• Reliability, good communication, and ability to follow structured processes
