Our client is transforming the future of renewable energy, making sustainable solutions more accessible, smarter, and more impactful for businesses across the UK. As a leader in green technology and the home of Project Solar UK, Project EV, and Project CRV, they are driving the journey toward a carbon net-zero future through innovation, ambition, and exceptional service.

They are now looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Representative to become a key part of their growing sales team. Sitting at the forefront of the commercial sales process, you will play a vital role in uncovering new business opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers, and creating a strong pipeline for the senior sales team.

This is far more than a typical call-centre role. It is an opportunity to develop real B2B sales expertise, have meaningful commercial conversations, and make a direct impact in one of the UK’s fastest-growing sectors.

In this role, you will identify and engage target organisations, confidently introduce the value of energy consultation and analysis, and progress qualified opportunities through to a Letter of Authorisation (LoA) before handing them over to senior colleagues.

Whether you already have experience in lead generation, SDR, BDR, or outbound sales, or you are looking to build a long-term career in professional B2B sales, this is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with genuine growth potential.

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) - Confidential support for wellbeing, including counselling and financial advice
  • MetLife GP24 - Medical support anytime, anywhere
  • Exclusive Discount Platform (PowerPerks) - Save on retail, travel, entertainment, and more

  • Private Healthcare - Optional comprehensive health coverage available at the employee's own expense

Success is measured by the quality of conversations and opportunities progressed, rather than activity alone. You will be expected to:

  • Engage in confident, structured commercial conversations with business decision-makers
  • Provide high-quality, well-prepared opportunity handovers to senior sales colleagues
  • Engage business decision-makers through professional outbound activity
  • Clearly explain the value of energy analysis and consultation
  • Qualify and hand over high-quality opportunities to senior sales colleagues
  • Work closely with Business Development Managers to support pipeline growth

We are looking for someone with the right mindset, professionalism, and commercial judgement. You should be confident speaking with business decision-makers. Experience within the energy or utilities sector is a bonus, but not essential.
