They are now looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Representative to become a key part of their growing sales team. Sitting at the forefront of the commercial sales process, you will play a vital role in uncovering new business opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers, and creating a strong pipeline for the senior sales team.

This is far more than a typical call-centre role. It is an opportunity to develop real B2B sales expertise, have meaningful commercial conversations, and make a direct impact in one of the UK’s fastest-growing sectors. In this role, you will identify and engage target organisations, confidently introduce the value of energy consultation and analysis, and progress qualified opportunities through to a Letter of Authorisation (LoA) before handing them over to senior colleagues.

  • Confident, structured commercial conversations with business decision-makers

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching and identifying target organisations
  • Engaging business decision-makers through professional outbound activity
  • Conducting structured, early-stage discovery conversations
  • Clearly explaining the value of energy analysis and consultation
  • Asking for and securing Letters of Authorisation (LoAs)
  • Qualifying and handing over high-quality opportunities to senior sales colleagues
  • Working closely with Business Development Managers to support pipeline growth
