Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per year (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Contract: Full-time, permanent

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join a small, friendly team based in Portbury. This is a fully office-based role where you will play a key part in supporting customers and the sales team by handling phone calls, emails, and sales orders, while delivering a high level of customer service at all times.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming customer calls and emails in a prompt and professional manner
  • Processing sales orders received from customers and the external sales team
  • Taking ownership of customer enquiries and resolving them where possible
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure queries are resolved efficiently
  • Providing ongoing support to the sales team and sales managers
  • Updating and maintaining customer records and CRM systems
  • Managing your own workload and diary effectively
  • Handling challenging customer conversations calmly and professionally

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a customer service or office-based role
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Positive, proactive attitude and a reliable approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with CRM or MRP systems is an advantage, but not essential
