We are recruiting Multiskilled Main Layers to join a respected island energy provider responsible for maintaining and improving the gas distribution network across Guernsey and Jersey.

The Role
Working within the Network Operations team, you will carry out hands on work across the gas distribution network. Your responsibilities will include:
- Mains replacement and new service installations
- District governor maintenance
- Gas escape investigation and repair
- Mains surveying and service disconnections
- Emergency call out rota, 1 in 4 days
- Working alongside contractors and liaising with the public
This role focuses on the external gas network and infrastructure rather than domestic appliance work.
What You'll Need
- Experience working on gas mains and distribution networks
- Gas Safe registration
- Strong understanding of gas safety and industry regulations
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Full UK driving licence
