About the Role:
Our client, a global leader in green technology and renewable energy solutions, is seeking a skilled Commissioning Technician to support the delivery of advanced energy storage projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge battery energy storage systems (BESS) and contribute to large-scale energy transformation initiatives worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission battery energy storage systems in line with technical specifications
- Debug systems, diagnose faults, and restore operational performance
- Prepare site plans and coordinate installation and commissioning activities
- Carry out technical upgrades, maintenance, and system improvements as directed by site leadership
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in BESS commissioning
- Relevant certifications such as CSCS, IOSH, NEBOSH, or SMSTS
- Electrical qualifications, including high-voltage and/or low-voltage certification (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
- Willingness to work on-site for extended periods and travel as required
- Good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- IELTS score of 5.0 or above, or willingness to improve English proficiency
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in power electronics or renewable energy systems
