The Opportunity

As a Medical Practice Adviser, you\’ll play a pivotal role as the initial point of contact with our valued members, offering expert advice and support within a scheme of delegated responsibility. You\’ll collaborate with our colleagues and contribute towards MDDUS\’ values and customer promises under the guidance of our Head of Medical Division.

In this role you will provide telephone and written advice to members about matters arising from their practise of medicine. You will have the opportunity to participate in projects across all business areas of MDDUS, such as member education and risk reduction, and various stakeholder engagements.

We\’re in search of candidates with familiarity in primary or secondary care settings. If you have experience working in a clinical discipline or as a practice manager we want to hear from you.

What you will bring

  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting, in a clinical or management healthcare role
  • Knowledge of NHS and/or private healthcare systems and frameworks across the UK
  • An understanding or previous experience of medico-legal matters, including GMC guidance and other relevant legislation
