The role:
We're looking for a Medico-Legal Adviser to join our dedicated and passionate Medical Division on a fixed term basis. We are open to applications on a full- and part-time basis for both our London and Glasgow offices.

As a Medico-Legal Adviser, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and assistance to MDDUS members. As a pivotal part of our team, you will champion membership and development initiatives, aligning seamlessly with our corporate and financial objectives. Who we are looking for:
We're in search of candidates who are passionate about supporting healthcare professionals and can add real value to the care of our members while supporting with medico-legal matters. Your insights and experience of general practice or secondary care across the UK will be your greatest asset, combined with experience of, or an interest, in medical law and ethics.
Minimum Requirements for the Role:
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
- GMC Registration
- Post-graduate medical qualifications such as Royal College membership or equivalent.
In addition to the minimum criteria, we are also keen to hear from candidates who possess the following qualities:
- Attention to detail: Highly organised, with experience of writing and drafting reports and analytical documents
- Good Stakeholder Management: Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels across our business and membership
- Strong communicator: Both written and verbally and able to interact with members with compassion and patience.
- Independent and collaborative: Comfortable working both on your own and as part of a team while managing a varied workload.
- Ambitious and Motivated: with a strong desire to deliver the highest quality of service to our members.
