Location: Glasgow City Centre or Central London (Holborn)

Hours: Full- or part-time position available

Working pattern: A minimum of 3 days (21 hours) required, up to 5 days (35 hours)

Hybrid Working: Office focused role with flexibility to work elsewhere

Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

The role

We're looking for a Medico-Legal Adviser to join our dedicated and passionate Medical Division on a permanent contract. We are open to applications on a full- and part-time basis for both our London and Glasgow offices.

As a Medico-Legal Adviser, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and assistance to MDDUS members. As a pivotal part of our team, you will champion membership and development initiatives, aligning seamlessly with our corporate and financial objectives. Who we are looking for

We’re in search of candidates who are passionate about supporting healthcare professionals and can add real value to the care of our members while supporting with medico-legal matters. Your insights and experience of general practice or secondary care across the UK will be your greatest asset, combined with experience of, or an interest, in medical law and ethics.

Minimum Requirements for the Role

  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
  • GMC Registration.
  • Post-graduate medical qualifications such as Royal College membership or equivalent.
