Hours: x2 full time roles (35 hours per week) business hours 8am – 6pm

Hybrid working: Flexibility to work from home after training

Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

The focus of our customer service team is to provide the best possible support and guidance to healthcare professionals, making things easy and simple for our members. This role plays a vital part in making a customer-centric team successful, and this is a fantastic opportunity to join the team.

About the Role

We’re looking for candidates who are passionate about customer experience and who can add real value to the customer journey via telephone and email interactions. You don’t have to be an expert in resolving enquiries, our experienced team will provide comprehensive training for you to be able to support our members at every stage. This could be during the application process through to if they are considering leaving, we will give you the confidence and skills to deliver a great member experience. You’ll collaborate with our wider colleagues and contribute towards MDDUS' mission, with full guidance and support from our experienced management team and Head of Department. You will have the opportunity to work flexibly between your home and the office following your initial training period, initial training typically lasts 6 to 8 weeks.

About You

If you have previous experience within a customer service environment, then great! But the most important thing to us is your passion and commitment to providing the best service to our members. MDDUS prides itself on the welcoming and friendly manner of its colleagues, and this should be conveyed in member interactions, where you can confidently resolve queries or issues through strong listening skills, paired with excellent spoken and written communication. The workload can be varied, and so you should be able to manage multiple tasks, with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude; thriving as part of a busy collaborative team, while taking initiative to exceed members’ expectations. At times, our members can find themselves in stressful situations, so being able to demonstrate patience and empathy, and have the emotional intelligence to handle difficult conversations is vital.
