With more than 40 offices on 5 continents, our forensic accountants specialise in a wide range of practice areas. Our assignments consist of disputes in commercial litigation, family law, fraud, business valuations, business disputes, natural and man‑made catastrophes, lost profits, and insurance.

Our partners and senior staff regularly provide extensive litigation services and expert witness testimony in courts, arbitrations and mediations throughout the world.

This is a full‑time role and will be hybrid from the London office.

This full‑time, hybrid Staff Accountant role requires excellent analytical skills, an inquisitive nature, tenacity to get to the root‑cause of discrepancies and/or issues, and a relentless desire to keep learning and challenging oneself.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production and other accounting data
  • Physical inventory observation, price testing
  • Examination of source documents pertinent to engagement
  • Check and proof reports and schedules
  • Conduct phone, video or in person interviews to obtain information
  • Research, data analysis and evaluation
  • Invoice analysis
  • Event attendance as required

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • You must be a fully‑qualified accountant, ideally in pursuit of your CPA
  • 9 months+ (including internships) experience in a professional accounting (or related) role
  • A desire to work and progress in the forensic accounting landscape
  • Demonstrable analytic skills, intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
  • Confident communication skills
  • Content to work in a fast‑paced and deadline‑driven environment
  • Knowledge of how loss events can impact a business is advantageous
