Job Description
MDD is looking for a Polish-speaking Staff Accountant in our London, UK office to support the expansion & growth of our Polish market. This role is the first step in carving out a career in Forensic Accounting and so is suitable for someone who is interested in this niche area of accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production and other accounting data
- Physical inventory observation, price testing
- Examination of source documents pertinent to engagement
- Check and proof reports and schedules
- Conduct phone, video or in person interviews to obtain information
- Research, data analysis and evaluation
- Invoice analysis
- Attend marketing events and functions with clients
Qualifications:
- Working proficiency in Polish required, native Polish language skills preferable
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Masters in a finance or legal related subject
- Recently achieved, working toward (or willing to work towards) an accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA)
- Exposure to working in a professional work environment with time-sensitive responsibilities
- Strong attention to details, analytical
- Ability to work as part of a team but autonomously on tasks
- Proficiency in Polish is required, other language skills considered an asset
