Key Responsibilities
The Workshop Manager ensures repairs and preventative maintenance is completed on our machinery and vehicles. Working effectively, safely and quickly to keep our vineyard equipped which is essential to the organisation’s success. You will be responsible for:
- Complete first level repair and maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
- Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and machine availability above 95%.
- Design suitable workshop for equipment maintenance work, order and supervise the workshop construction.
- Creation of a preventative maintenance schedule and completion of traceability documents for both maintenance and preventative maintenance.
- Clean and dismantle equipment and machinery at end of the season where appropriate, keeping machine and parts intact.
- Servicing of tools to ensure availability levels and modification of tools to improve their use.
- Ensuring you have a clean and tidy workshop at all times.
- Inventory and stock management, a place for everything and everything in its place.
- Periodic counts of parts, equipment and machinery with quantities updated on Business Central.
- Purchasing of equipment at the best price and quality with three quotes obtained where possible.
- Managing the workshop within budget, tracking costs for repairs and equipment purchasing.
