About the Role
The supply chain manager will work across all our divisions to ensure that we meet our internal and external customers’ demands on time, accurately and in full. Coordinate, organize and manage all logistics involved in the production and distribution processes. Oversee the entire life cycle of a product, from raw materials to final products. Work closely with all divisions to ensure efficient and cost‑effective operations. Create accurate sales forecasts to enable the production team to have the required dry goods and finished product availability. Ensure appropriate storage space for products. Take responsibility for the warehouse and maintaining stock accuracy across the business.
Implement, develop and embed five key priorities:
- Improve inventory visibility and stock accuracy;
- Forecast for production and procurement;
- Adopt a fast, flexible pipeline planning system using Business Central;
- Use real‑time analytics to measure demand volatility;
- Build on existing forecasting models to create accurate supply and demand;
- Manage demand from forecasting through to production planning.
Requirements
- Previous supply chain, planning and customer service area experience.
- Full, clean driving licence and own transport.
- Experience in an FMCG environment.
- Ability to travel between Rochester and Luddesdown.
- Work 5 days a week on a 7‑shift pattern.
- Flexibility on start and finish times on request and as required.
- Flexible, can‑do attitude and ability to embrace change.
- Ability to work under pressure and with rapidly changing priorities.
- Experience of managing a team; currently managing a team of 4 people with potential for future expansion.
