MD2 Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver on behalf of our client based in Biggleswade. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver seeking long-term employment with a well-established company. The role will initially be temporary with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful probationary period.
Duties:
- Carrying out deliveries and collections in a safe and timely manner.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
- Loading and unloading vehicles where required.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
- Complying with all driving regulations and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
- No more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A Moffett (Truck Mounted Forklift) licence would be advantageous but is not essential as training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Reliable, flexible and professional approach to work.
