Electrical QS

Do you have experience in social housing supervising? Are you committed to putting the customer at the heart of what you do? We are looking for an enthusiastic supervisor who wants to provide high quality work to support our business and its values.
Assisting our Response and Planned Managers in delivering repairs and upgrades for our client in SE Cornwall. The role will be based in our Liskeard office, assisting with WIP management ensuring jobs are completed in target, meeting contract KPIs.
Responsible for overseeing electrical compliance, qualifying electrical certification, carrying out on-site audits of directly employed staff and contractors.

The Required Candidate will be able to:
- Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ Level 3 minimum/City & Guilds or equivalent) 18th edition City and guilds 2391 'Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations' or equivalent.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Demonstrate good knowledge of inspection, testing, verification, certification and reporting procedures for the range of electrical work undertaken by the company
- Conversant with the Electricity at Work Regulations, British Standards and IEE guidance and Industry Codes of Practice
- IT literate and in particular Microsoft applications (Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams) proficient
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
