We are looking for Female Community Care Workers to work within a home in the Llanelli area. Due to the individual personal care needs, we are looking for female workers. You do not need experience, just enthusiasm and compassion to support vulnerable adults in the community. Nothing compares to the feeling that comes from knowing that you have made a difference to someone else's life – especially when that someone is a vulnerable adult.

Working Pattern: Predominately Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and nights.

Responsibilities:

  • You will become part of our incredible team, helping to deliver emotional and practical care and support for vulnerable adults and transforming their lives on a daily basis.
  • You will be involved in providing quality care to vulnerable adults in the community, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided through their person-centered care plans.
  • You will need to be able to drive.
  • You will be working on a rota basis, which may include early starts, late finishes, day and night shifts, and weekend working.
  • You will offer focused support with a range of tasks, including personal care, preparing meals, administering medicine, shopping, and light household duties.
  • You will be involved in supporting the daily activities of the people we support both in their own home and within the community.
  • You will facilitate activities that are person-centered, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.

  • You will need to be reliable, dependable, and committed to making a difference.
  • You will need to have the desire and passion to support individuals in achieving their aspirations and personal goals.
  • You will need to demonstrate a commitment to enabling people to live fulfilled and independent lives within their homes and the wider community.
  • You will need to be committed to providing an excellent level of care for vulnerable people with mental health and learning disabilities.
  • You will need to be an energetic, happy person who enjoys forming relationships with all sorts of people.
  • You need to be over 18 to apply for this role.

Qualifications:

  • If not already qualified, you should be working towards your QCF level 2 in Health and Social Care qualification. Proven experience in care is advantageous but not essential as full induction and training will be provided.
