McShanes Solicitors are currently recruiting an ambitious and client-focused Conveyancing & Probate Solicitor to join our growing practice in Newry. This role would suit a solicitor with 1-2 years PQE who is keen to develop their career within a supportive and progressive firm.
The Role
- You will manage and assist with a varied caseload of residential conveyancing and private client matters while delivering an excellent service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing conveyancing and probate files from instruction to completion
- Advising clients on wills, probate, EPAs and controllership matters
- Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents and other solicitors
- Assisting partners with ongoing casework
- Ensuring compliance with Law Society regulations
- Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
- Maintaining up-to-date legal knowledge and training
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- 1-2 years PQE in conveyancing and/or probate
- Strong client care and communication skills
- A professional and approachable manner
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for private client and property work
