Location: Newry, County Down

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.15pm

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE + Bonus

McShanes Solicitors are currently recruiting an ambitious and client-focused Conveyancing & Probate Solicitor to join our growing practice in Newry. This role would suit a solicitor with 1-2 years PQE who is keen to develop their career within a supportive and progressive firm.

The Role

  • You will manage and assist with a varied caseload of residential conveyancing and private client matters while delivering an excellent service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing conveyancing and probate files from instruction to completion
  • Advising clients on wills, probate, EPAs and controllership matters
  • Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents and other solicitors
  • Assisting partners with ongoing casework
  • Ensuring compliance with Law Society regulations
  • Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
  • Maintaining up-to-date legal knowledge and training

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • 1-2 years PQE in conveyancing and/or probate
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • A professional and approachable manner
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm for private client and property work
