As a QA consultant, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will develop and execute test plans, identify and document defects, collaborate with the development team to resolve issues, and demonstrate new functionalities to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.
- Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Collaborate with developers and the product manager to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Maintain automated test scripts to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
- Create/amend documentation for new and changed functionality.
- Assist with release installation testing and preparation.
- Demo new functionalities to stakeholders and gather feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA tester – 5 years.
- Familiarity with various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, performance).
- Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete).
- Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
