MCS Group is currently working in partnership with a public sector organisation to recruit a Graphic Designer on a long term temporary contract (9 months with the view to extension). Excellent hourly rate - £18.36 ph + benefits.

The Role:

  • Coordinate the full design, print and production process, liaising with internal teams, external designers and suppliers.

  • Ensure consistency in branding and design across all materials, advising stakeholders on appropriate brand usage.

  • Design a wide range of materials including publications, leaflets, infographics, reports, exhibitions, and digital content such as web and email marketing.

  • Deliver projects using graphic design software, ensuring adherence to corporate identity guidelines.

  • Manage graphic design contracts, prepare specifications for suppliers and oversee production to ensure high-quality outputs.

  • Promote innovative and cost-effective design methods, including new technologies and multimedia, while supporting collaborative communication opportunities.

  • Support financial and strategic processes, maintain accurate records in line with GDPR, and carry out additional duties as required.

The Person:

  • Third level qualification in a relevant subject e.g. Graphic Design etc.
  • Previous experience of Graphic Design work, including simple animations and multi-media projects.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suites.
  • Knowledge of CCS and HTML.
