MCS Group is recruiting a data-driven Transportation Analyst for our client based in Larne on a contract basis.

About the Role

Are you passionate about transportation and leveraging data to deliver actionable insights that impact daily operational decisions in a large manufacturing division? Do you enjoy improving transportation networks, shipping performance, and processes? Are you passionate about logistics, data, and analytics? If so, this could be the opportunity for you!

As a Transportation Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving the operational efficiency and processes for products moving from EAME facilities to dealers or end customers. You will plan and execute international transportation shipments to reduce transit time, variability, in-transit inventory, and costs. Initiate, develop, lead, and stabilize cost reduction projects for outbound shipments from the client's EAME manufacturing facilities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Prior experience in international transportation, including ocean (container/RORO), road (truck), and air freight.
  • Motivated to gain expertise in international transportation processes.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Salesforce is a plus.
