MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established and growing Practice located in Belfast, looking to recruit for a Tax Accountant (Trainee/Part-Qualified) on a full time, permanent basis.
The Company: A respected and well-established independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisers, based in Belfast, is currently expanding its team. While most of their clients are located throughout Northern Ireland, they also serve a diverse international client base across the Republic of Ireland, Great Britain, Europe, North and South America, and Australia. The team includes experienced professionals from a range of specialisms, including chartered accountancy, tax advisory, trust and estate planning, and human resources.

Job Duties of the Tax Accountant (Trainee/Part-Qualified) include:
- Preparation of corporation and personal tax returns
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Review of completed tax returns
- Exposure to advisory/consultancy work at senior level
- Reporting directly to the manager
- Trainees focused on core preparation work
What you need to be the Successful Tax Accountant (Trainee/Part-Qualified):
- Small to mid-tier practice experience preferred
- Big 4 candidates considered if focused on tax compliance work
- Strong tax technician is ideal but will consider tax trainee with relevant experience
- Will consider accounts technician or part-qualified accountant with tax experience
- Solid grounding in tax compliance
