MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for our client, a leading electrical contractor specialising in data centre and large-scale electrical projects across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering high-profile projects while playing a key role in maintaining the highest health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures
- Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Support site teams in promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture
- Provide health & safety guidance to operational teams
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of health & safety documentation
About You
- Experience in a Health & Safety role within construction, engineering or M&E
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and industry best practice
- Experience working on large-scale or fast-paced construction projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Data centre project experience is advantageous but not essential
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Full driving licence
