MCS Group is exclusively recruiting on behalf of Translink for Senior Project Engineers (2 positions available). These new permanent roles are based in Belfast.
The role:
You will act as the liaison between Permanent Way and Renewals to ensure the development and delivery of the broad range of network renewal and enhancement projects in accordance with NIR standards and industry best practice.
Essential criteria:
- Minimum of a Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a relevant construction-related degree.
- Minimum of 3 years' Design or Construction/Maintenance experience resulting in the successful delivery of projects and programmes of work.
- Experience of both design and delivery gained in a number of different design and project management roles.
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary Team.
- Experience of the application of construction design standards.
- In depth understanding and experience of Project/Asset Management, planning and control processes and methodologies within a construction environment.
- Demonstrable experience of leading and influencing teams to deliver challenging business objectives.
- Experience of using CAD, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
- Full current Driving Licence and access to a vehicle to meet the requirements of the post.
