MCS Group is recruiting a Senior Programme Manager on behalf of a leading organisation for a temporary contract based in Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced programme leader to take ownership of a portfolio of infrastructure projects with a significant capital budget.
You will oversee projects from initial concept through to delivery and ongoing maintenance, managing both business-as-usual and strategic initiatives that play a key role in the organisation's long-term investment plans.
Working across a complex stakeholder environment, you will engage with internal and external partners, provide strategic programme leadership, contribute to business case development, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with governance requirements.
The candidate
- A minimum of 5 years' experience successfully managing and delivering major construction projects and programmes.
- At least 3 years' experience working within the rail industry.
- Proven experience ensuring compliance with government regulations, governance frameworks, and programme controls.
- Strong leadership experience managing project teams, allocating resources, and overseeing workloads within a fast-paced project environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and programme delivery skills.
